Really cool video, will help me a lot to make my portfolio i think
Nice
you are the best
The most useful tutorial that i have ever watched <3 thanks so much. Wishfully you’ll give us more and more tutorials like this.
Really well explained, I’m a noob regarding all this matter but I’m looking forward to learn more. I’m working in a very technical tutorial about the evolution of mesh in Second Life, something to help others to understand the concepts between classic, mesh and the new thing “bento” and I’d like to use a part of your character modelling, just a couple of seconds to display the use of programs like Zbrush, maya…. I’ll share the link of your channel as a reference of course, hope it’s all ok with you? It wont be for commercial purposes but to use it as a reference for the work of “mesh prims” for the new avatars. Hope you can read this ^^, keep up with the good work!
This video Is great. I really want to learn how to do character modeling. Anyone know where someone can learn online. Maybe courses, even if it’s something I need to pay for I’m more than willing if there are some good courses out there
What plugin did you use for positioning the images(that dial control)?
Hi, awesome vid. Do you mind if i ask you somethind about texturing? Some texturing doubts i have.
I knew that was poppy from the thumb nail ! So you nailed it !!! Good job .
Which software is it?
is this meant to be poppy ?
Great workflow. Not usable for animators, but ideal for still artists. Although Maya is powerful, rigging still seems to be a big chore in the program.
Blender can do everything youve mentioned thats why I love Blender it can be a 1 stop shop!!
P-O-P-P-Y I’m Poppy
with what app you make the character
Is 3D-Coat a good alternative for Blender/Maya to do Retopo and UV layouts? I’m used to Maya but started using Blender, loving it, but need sometime better for the UV and retopo tools. Also i Topogun any good for Retopo?
here I am already happy create my zepeto character… and yet watch this video gave me a GASP!!
Its very useful tutorial..Thanks
Hur style
Very informative ! Thank you very much to understand different steps of the processing!
You tha Man! Always! Thanks so clear and precise!
6:32 how do you do this?
P. O. P. P. Y
*I’M POPPY*
I’m Poppy.
What do you use for Retopo these days? Also do you use Dynamesh in Zbrush for final details before retopo?
=)
Poppy is a lie. Ars is the truth!
Why does most people sculpt from scratch when they could just make a nicely shaped figure in DAZ Studio using existing presets, and then export it to an .obj and do further editing in another program?
very helpful.thank you
7:52 oh boy, Poppy’s bubbliests are out.
looks difficult and stressing.. ill pass
that was the first video i watched to clear so many things and put me in the right track .. thanks so much
i have a question tho, how do i render xgen hair in substance painter ? is there a certain way to export it ?
Excellent video. You deserve more than 55k subs.
could you explain clothing in a tutorial? those fabrics are gorgeous
Omg nice..
Poppy is lovely…❤️
Seriously awesome video. There’s so many workflows for creating characters that newbies can quickily get overwhelmed by all the choices. This is the overview video that everyone needs! Also I agree that Zbrush for sculpting and Substance Painter for texturing are a great combination, and I’d add Marvellous Designer for clothing. Pretty much standard in the industry nowadays 🙂
I wanna ask you a little bit confuse thing.
Do you sculpt detaily, like winkle on the mesh after retopo?
Or You retopo mesh before get into detail sculpting.
HER HER HER
I am Poppy.
fantastic video mate. exactly what i needed.
Nice ❤️
She’s weird af
POPPYYYYYYYYY
I noticed that you talked a lot about zbrush and Maya, I’m self learning and during a course about visual production I recieved a student license for 3D Studio Max, is it good anyway? does it allow me to do both modeling and sculpting?
13:06 looks way more like poppy than your final one 14:06
