In this Easy Beginner Adobe Illustrator CC Tutorial we will use the anchor point guide to assist drawing the character using the shapes and the shape builder tool. We will go nice and slow for brand new users of Adobe Illustrator can follow along at home or in the classroom.

We will start inking by adding shapes and modify using round corner, scissor tool, or combining them with shape builder. This is an easy to follow strategy for beginners. We will Add colors using Live Paint, add Offset Paths, add a transparent gradient layer, and 1 pathfinder shadow.
