Jozzarozzer says:

I think you could’ve explained the multiply better.

Essentially: black is RGB (0,0,0), white is RGB (1,1,1), and everything else is in between.

Multiply literally just multiplies the RGB of one color with another. So when you multiply by black, you multiply everything by 0, making it all black. When you multiply by white, you multiply everything by 1 so it stays as it was.

You can figure out what multiply will do with simple math. If you take red (1,0,0) and green (0,1,0) and multiply them together, they will also equal black.

If you take cyan (0,1,1) and multiply it with orange (1,0.5,0), you’ll get a dark green (0,0.5,0)
