Maya tutorial, animating model growth and cuts

A tutorial showing how to animate a booleans type operation without using booleans. This method can quickly be used to draw on geometry much like in architectural animations.

awesome! Thanks for sharing! I was about to ask how to “parent” the cut manipulator into a locator or some other object but then I remembered the connection editor and connected the position and scale of the cut input to a locator. This should be easier to grab and animate specially when scenes get big and complicated
