It may be a silly question but how do i preview the changes before applying them? you change the colors and lighting and things are just changing as you change them, but here, i have to apply them to see how it’ll look like.. this “issue” kinda takes me some time 🙁

I wonder: If you do a anti-colliding effect of some kind (I can’t really remember the name of it), will these move? Due to the fact that one isn’t trying to penetrate the other, I would assume that would be the case. Or would rigging (if possible) these gears do more justice?
