Question: One of your video’s talked about getting a Camera Click to add to your video’s. Can you tell me which video that is again?

Brian Schwartz says:

So if I have iPhone footage, I take three steps before the file gets into PS21.

1. Handbrake – to convert from .MOV to MP4
2. Rx Elements from izotope to auto remove noise and clicks
3 Auphonic online for Levelling

Then I open PS21 and put the original MP4 file and the newly cleaned audio track from Auphonic on the timeline. Then I detach the audio from the MP4 and move up the cleaned audio to be next to the video from the MP4.

The only audio editing I do in PS21 is audio ducking.

I used these settings on 2 of our videos. Our wireless mic’s were set to level 15 causing audio peaking, and another video Anika’s hair kept brushing her mic causing noise. We could have used this video, but we did a good job fixing it by clicking away on the audio correction settings. All is good 🙂

I’d like to know how do you get a 10 min MP4 video to be only 73 meg file size??

Thank you Maliek! I use Ableton Live to master my audio (music) and for extra effects on the speech. I avoid compression as much as possible, cause the loss of dynamics. But everyone does it his/her way.

As a new subscriber to, I thank you for your faithfulness in posting every Saturday these great Pinnacle Studio Tutorials. Many a day I wake up and have to ask myself what day this is and then I see the notice that has posted a new video, that is when I know it must be Saturday. Bravo Zulu.

I now realize that I have to edit videos of my Granddaughter’s performances that I posted on and her YouTube Channel under “Just FAITH Music”

Many, many thanks. I will continue to watch your Pinnacle Studio videos and give you the “Thumbs Up”. Even though I have Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 21, your videos from PSU 16. 17, 18, 19 and 20 are still relevant.

Thanks Again.

Editing & Correcting Audio: Mostly I use Abode Audition 3.01 for EQing, compressing & clean up and I’ve recently started using it for creating loops for the Mashup series. Other audio chores get handed to MixMeister 7.44 & Audacity. I’ve never used Studio’s audio tools in the past, and now that I know they’re there, I’ll give them a try. Thanks Maliek!

8:08 to adjust for Outside Wind Noise. Wow. This is SUPER intense learning.  When I have to do this I will just come to this video and just put what He has. This is kind of over my head.  I have done audio volume adjustment before but this is intense learning on Audio.  Good thing we have this video to come back to if we ever need it. ((( Haha… I think I will just use a good mic!)) **** Though I can see using 8:08 for outside and you need to adjust for Wind Noise. *** I put that in my comment in the beginning so I have a reference for myself where to go later if I need it. Good Work Maliek!  Another Fantastic Video for us Pinnacle Studio Peeps!
